Meet the Charities

We’ve recently kicked off our second year of giving, and are excited that our cause area for 2017 is social inclusion –  with a specific focus on young people at risk, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and refugees

One of the many activities that Impact100 Sydney provides is the opportunity for members (and prospective members) to meet the charities who would like to apply for the second Impact100 Sydney grant.

This event also provides an opportunity for charities themselves to meet their peers in the sector, and to find out more about the Impact100 Sydney Grants process.

The Impact100 Sydney first grant attracted over 50 applications, and we expect an even greater interest in the second grant round.

So please register to attend and bring some friends and colleagues for what promises to be a fun and informative evening.

Places are limited, and pre-registration required

Launch Event: Impact100 Sydney’s Second Grant Year

On a cool winter's night share a glass of mulled wine and warm conversation with fellow philanthropists as we launch our Second Grant and start the search for the next local Project to support Sydneysiders.

Our inaugural Sydney Impact100 grant of $100,000 to Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre was a tremendous start and this event is aimed at helping you and friends, family or colleagues get a better understanding of how you can get involved in one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements in the world.

You'll hear from committee members about the success of our first year, our focus areas for the Second Grant, more details about our approach to finding and selecting a project to support and how you can get even more involved if you want.

  • Google Calendar ICS

On 16 March 2017, members of Impact100 Sydney will gather at the iconic Custom's House to make our giving count. This is the night we have all been waiting for - to cast our vote for the most outstanding pitch from our 4 finalist organisations and decide who will receive Sydney's inaugural grant of $100,000.

I am pleased to announce our 4 finalists:

  • batyr Australia
  • Leichhardt Women's Health Centre
  • Raise Foundation
  • Weave Youth & Community Services Inc.

Jesse Cook, one of our biggest supporters from 107 Projects and I will co-host this exciting occasion, and you will hear from each finalist how a $100,000 grant will help them change the lives of some of Sydney's young people at risk.

We invite you to come along after work, have a drink and cocktail food, and cast your vote. I also invite you to bring your partner, friends and families to enjoy this night with us.  There is still time to encourage anyone you interested to join Impact100 Sydney, so they too can cast their vote on the night.
